Posted on Mar 23rd, 2007 by ~C4Chaos : (hyper)linker ~C4Chaos

I got tagged just by reading Gail's blog. Damnit.

Here is how this tag game works: I am to post 12 random facts about myself, 11 which are true and 1 which isn't. you get to guess which one isn't. Also, since you are reading this, you have been tagged. So there.

1) i'm an only child

2) i used to hang out in gay bars with my gay friends

3) i slept on Ken Wilber's sofa because i had no place to stay when i moved to Boulder

4) i'm good at playing chess

5) i was caught passing a cheat note in college during final exams

6) i've read the Bible cover to cover when i was still in high school

7) i flew to an island to get initiation on some weird form of Buddhist meditation

8) i'm very shy in person

9) ignoring security, me and my classmates jumped to the front section of a Bon Jovi concert

10) i used to date Scarlett Johansson before she made it big in Hollywood

11) i've never tried pot or any type of drug

12) i'm good at singing karaoke

Hmm.  I think the untrue one is about playing chess.  I don't think that you really think you're so good at playing chess.

well, we chatted about #10 exhaustively when that went down, so I'd have to say #12! :)

i'm picking 9.  why would anyone in their right mind want to see bon jovi in concert, let alone risk the possibility of getting kicked out?  maybe that's why you did it: you got free tickets and you realized you really didn't want to be there, so you were hoping to be escorted out by security…

* ok ~C4 i have to go with #5 cuz if its true then i would be really disappointed as i cheated since the 5th grade n was never caught n as a fellow chess player i would not accept anything less from u… so i have to go with that one at least for the sake of staying in the illusion of my picture of u ^.^

@Gail: LOL. but just to let you know, Bon Jovi was BIG during my college days where i come from. but alas, the concert had to be cancelled after a few songs  because it rained hard. and to think i risked my ass for nuthin!

@Brian: thank for taking your sweet time in consoling me when that went down. really appreciate it. but i moved on since then. and i'm a lot happier now. but just to let you know, i can sing Bon Jovi songs in karaoke too. Bed of Roses anyone?

@~princess: unfortunately #5 was true. i was caught in between my two classmates who'd been passing notes during the exam. although i wasn't cheating with them, my fault was that i acted as an accessory.

Oh so finally, concerning No. 10, you admit that ScoJo has nothing on this!  I like the way you nicely acquiesced here.  I knew that time would wittle you down like an X-acto knife through balsa!  Ha!  My judgement reigns supreme.  Time for maniacal laughter!  Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

I'll say #6 is the faux factoid.  No one in history has read the Bible cover to cover. There is so much boring stuff (begat, begat, begat -gimme a break!).  And Laurie Anderson has a great little story about how strange it was to grow up in the Bible belt hearing all these weird stories about talking snakes, frogs falling from the sky and stuff.  No, your supra-rational and hyperactive mind would have gone missing somewhere in the middle of page 1 of the Old Testament. I mean, let's face it, you are an uber-genius, and a whole lot of the Bible was written for illiterates…  The New Testament of course is way cool, brotherly love and all those healings, but you would NEVER have gotten that far. Not you. No.  I vote for #6. Definitely.

@princess: nope. i really haven't tried drugs. but you're right, blogging is addicting :)

@Happiness: The New Testament of course is way cool, brotherly love and all those healings, but you would NEVER have gotten that far.”

LOL. but i did. i felt the need to embrace my Christian roots so i can include it in my map of reality without disowning it :) and besides, i don't want to burn in hell, yah know. so i've put my bet with Pascal :) plus i was still young then, so my supra-rational and hyperactive mind is not yet developed, whatever the hell that means.

@eBuzz: you crack me up, man!

The Rats in his Castle - and what a supremely integral Rat he is - full of integrity so to speak - but having posted a zPage entry for ALL of this - I keep getting back an address not known error - so rats to ” i've been tagged” until brian or you can point me to somewhere that I might find out what I am doing wrong !

In the meantime I will leave you with the thought that I once went to THE only gay bar in Bournemouth with a young lady who became a pilot for the DeBeers Diamond company and subsequently established “the mile high club” - but of course ZEN has since made me a believer in Jesus as Jesus not Jesus as Christ.

okay so that basically leaves # 7. Not too many brain cells required here since every other one has been nixed. And then again perhaps my lone brain cell is wrong again.

However  I did think ” i flew to an island to get initiation on some weird form of Buddhist meditation” was a tad suspicious the minute I read it. You'da named the weird form if it was real. Not to mention you keep saying you want to fly to Ireland to be with your Dakini ( I'm in Ireland right at this moment btw, I'll wave to her…) - if you could fly to an island to get initiation then surely flying to The Ireland wouldn't be so bloody hard. &I'm sure your Dakini initiates you every time you do make it to Ireland… ;-)

love you even more, btw, reading these.
ok. I'm off to do my own list now, sheise.
