Today I went to my best buddy’s crib so I can eat his food and drink his water. He had some nilagang baka (beef stew) and leftover white rice. Nice. I don’t have food in my fridge. Well, there are these 6-month old microwaveables from Trader Joe’s and stuff with molds. So you see, it’s a no-brainer for me to join a friend who has good food in his crib.
However, the last thing I expected to see in my friend’s crib is a girlie movie DVD. My friend is not exactly the girlie man type. In fact, he’s more of a ladies’ man. Hmmm. Maybe that’s why he has that chick flick? That’s sooo evil! Nice. But anyway, of all the gazillion chick flicks out there, why the f*ck would he have Serendipity?

there is a difference between synchronicity and coincidence. read it here.
IMBO (in my ballsy opinion) there are a lot of similarities between synchronicity and serendipity. but there is one minor difference:
while synchronicity is a “pattern of connection that cannot be explained by direct causality,” serendipity is similar BUT it's actually “the faculty of making fortunate discoveries by accident.”
the keyword here is FORTUNATE. therefore serendipity is on the POSITIVE (read: fortunate) end of the spectrum while synchronicity can be on both ends of the spectrum or in between.
e.g. a truck running at 80mph hitting and flattening me on the asphalt floor because i was stupidly tying my shoes in the middle of the road due to the synchronization of my left foot stepping on my shoe lace while Venus synchronistically revolves around the sun in the Age of Aquarius, see?
so now you can stop mocking me with your cheesy comments. and besides, Serendipity is a better movie than Synchronicity. hah!
