Kosmic Blogging 101
Zaadz Pods are now deployed. As a Zaadz Ambassador I was given an opportunity to create one of the first few pods. So I created a pod (aka ZPod:KB101) that I am very passionate about. For now I have only invited those who are in my contact list. Those kindred souls who are more than willing to blog their heart out. Pod admins will be adding more members soon. So stay stuned if you're interested with this pod. Or drop me a message.
I have some ideas, but I have no clue what this pod will eventually accomplish. That what makes it more fun. All I know is that together, we'll build a pod with legs, balls, and fluffy things... then serendipity will give it wings.

Kosmic Blogging 101, eh? Is there required reading material (perhaps your blog)? How ‘bout required texts, tuition, etc? What are your office hours? How does the grading system work? Ok, I think I’m game. Let’s do this!

Yeah, ok, whatever, Mr. President.
Will there be an initial “non-gratis” intro for all new Zaadzsters?…to be followed by KB101 as they progress.
I really see a need for a place that new Zaadzsters can get inspired to blog. Most of them are just timid and don’t know how everything works(I was one of those). It’s really important to get these people writing though. We can’t die with our music still in us as Wayne Dyer says…. or better yet, in this case…..our seed still in us. Maybe Zaadz has a stipend for Cool to coach new Zaadzster bloggers Matthew? The profiles and blogs are what get new readers interested once thay make it to Zaadz. What if someone read an ad and got to Zaadz and all they found were empty profiles and blogs? Not so inspiring huh?
Interesting idea, Shelly. But Brian is the one to ask that question. I know Coolness would be an awesome addition to the team, and you are right, there’s no one better to coach people how to blog!

seriously, i could use all the help… i’ve never coached anyone before…
OK, so you talk to Brian everyday Matthew. Plant the seed. I’ve emailed him about other things and haven’t got a response because he is super swamped I am sure. I trust that if it is meant to be it will happen easily.
Cool, coaching can be an intimidating word since it is a new career path for many. All it really means to me is that you recognize and bring forth the best in others. A coach in a certain field has a natural aptitude for the subject and thus shares that with his “players”.
So in this case, you may have an outline of how to blog, a few books they can read and the open forum (which you already started with your pod). Then you just “call them forth” by encouraging them to write and then offering them encouragement, inspiration and feedback(positive and for imporovement). From time to time you might interject with ways they can ease the process and increase the fun. The most important thing I can see in this position would to be able to encourage people to write from their heart-space. ie: talk about things they are passionate about from their own authentic perspective. For the most part, you would be available to answer questions. Who knows, this could actually lead into your own business if it inspires you.
Just be you. You are already helping many, just by being an example. This step would just be a public acknowledgement that you are there to help. It would be time consuming and your time is valuable. This is where I see the need for compensation come in.

that’s exactly what i’m gonna do, and then some… thanks for the advice. i’ll be tapping your wisdom more often :)

P.S. I’m really glad this inspires you….. I think it can help a lot of people. Blogging for me is very healing. I hope it is for everyone.
PSS. Matthew, you can tell Brian it is my idea. I’ve thought something like this was a necessity since the day I got here. It will make the site that much more “user friendly” and doesn’t necessarily have to be a full-paid postition. Just a little extra cash to pay our Brotha’ from anotha’ Motha’ for his time.
